Guestroombooking offers a worldwide listing - in fact even two - of guesthouses and bed & breakfasts. The list is currently under construction, starting with Europe, and taking it's official "launch" summer 2006.
People looking for accommodation should find guestroombooking to be an easy tool to find accommodation and to get a good idea about what a bed & breakfast offers.
As a lot of smaller bed & breakfasts do not have a web-presentation yet we offer them the possibility to create a nice-looking presentation within the guestroombooking pages. A presentation they can use as their own website.
The listing and web-presentations are a free service from guestroombooking.

To get your house listed in guestroombooking you just have to follow some simple steps and provide the information needed for your entry.
First you will have to register your guesthouse in our database, the same way as if you would make an account for a booking-system.
When you log in to the administration system (the login-id and password will be sent to you by e-mail) the system will guide you trough the next steps to set up your listing-entry. Most important to prepare is a small (10 - 15 lines) text to present your guesthouse in the listing.
You can ad a small picture to your listing entry.
Once your details are completed your guesthouse will show in the listing within a few days. You will get notified once that occurs.

To get your full info-pages at guestroombooking you to provide us with the basic information to set up your primary page. The full list is in the yellow box below.
Once your first page is created you will be able to add more pages, change texts and pictures, trough the administration interface.
You can sent us the info for your free webpages even before your listing is published.

two listings
"normal" and "gay"

Guestroombooking exists in two flavors.
There is the normal listing of guesthouses and bed & breakfasts that can be found on www.guestroombooking.com.
On the other hand there is a big group of frequent traveling gay & lesbian people. Some of them prefer to stay in an environment that is especially "gay friendly" or exclusively gay.
Some bed & breakfasts also want to address themselves specific or exclusively to the gay community. For this reason we also have gay.guestroombooking.com with a listing of gay and gay-friendly guesthouses.

• log in to your account and provide the details for the listing
• sent us the text you want to have on your first webpage
• sent us picture or illustration 850 pixels wide and not very high (100 - 150 pixels) (*)
• sent us a picture or illustration 350 pixels wide and about 200 - 250 pixels high (*)
• suggest us some names to use for the url of yourhouse (as in www.guestroombooking.com/yourhouse)

Your house will be entered with its description in the listing(s) you want, at the geographical location your accommodation is located. A small picture and basic information will be included. From your entry in the listing people can visit your website (if you have one), your guestroombooking info-pages, and a mapquest of your location.
You will dispose of a nice web-presentation, up to 5 pages of freely editable text and up to 4 different pictures or illustrations.
You can use this web-presentation as your own website, as you can use the url "www.guestroombooking.com/yourguesthousename" to refer to it.

if you also subscribe to the booking & administration system:
You will have your info pages in multiple languages (NL, FR, EN, DE, others can be added upon request);
You will have a direct link to your booking-interface from your webpages and from the listing;
You can link directly to your booking-interface from your own website.

The full guestroombooking package is much more than just being listed. The full package will get you more bookings in a more easy way. Find out about guestroombookings features from the links aside, and find out if it would fit you and your guesthouse.
As a startup action we offer free use of all guestroombooking features (booking-system and database) for all guesthouses till end september 2007. Note that this does not include the commissions charged by paypal (if you use deposit payments) or the fees for cellphone notifications (if you decide to use these).

If you don't need online bookings, an easy booking-database and all extras included, you can of course just keep it with the listing and info-pages. If you have your own website it will be linked to your info pages and your listing.
